CITY TEMPO - WHITEMAN ST, Melbourne – A Smart Stay in the City

Staying at Shortstay Apartments was one of the highlights of our trip for two families. The rooms were comfortable, but we struggled to cope with the full sun in the afternoon. The service we received, with the detailed explanation of the apartment features, was the best I have dealt with. The location was excellent, close to DFO and restaurants, although the hum of cars on the freeway was a minor downside. We enjoyed being able to shop and cook sometimes for ourselves with the convenience of having an IGA just around the corner. The dining experience was pleasant, especially for breakfast, and gourmet pizzas were a treat. The facilities offered were satisfactory, with some minor issues about maintenance and supplies. Overall, a good stay with minor inconveniences to consider.

I absolutely loved my stay at Yarra Crest Apartments! The location is fantastic, just a short stroll away from Crowne Casino, South Melbourne Markets, Woolworths, and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Plus, the view of the Yarra River and CBD from my room was breathtaking. Service was top-notch, with exceptional assistance on various matters, although the building maintenance staff could be more accommodating. The convenience of being close to key spots like the conference center and tram line made my stay even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing stay at Freshwater Place in South Bank. The location is superb, near the Yarra, Crown, and South Bank restaurants. The room was cozy, and the service was accommodating. However, I was a bit let down by the dining options. The convenience of being near attractions outweighed any minor inconveniences.

As first time visitors to Australia, the hotel exceeded our expectations with its extremely spacious and fully furnished rooms featuring modern furniture. The friendly and helpful service, particularly with after-hours check-in, made our stay stress-free. Despite some noise, the location, just minutes from Melbourne Convention Centre and close to the Exhibition Centre, proved convenient. The mouth-watering breakfast was a delightful touch to our experience.

The apartment at Yarra Crest Apartments was nice and quiet, filled with light from the Crown sign all night until the morning. The service was exceptional overall, with quick check-in and assistance provided, though a minor incident with a staff member was noted. Despite a slightly tired appearance, the location was great and convenient for exploring Melbourne, with attractions like the Exhibition Centre and restaurants nearby. The dining experience offered delicious salads and breakfast options, and the facilities were satisfactory.
